The radius of the circle is the distance between the center of the circle and any point on the circle. Using the distance formula, the distance between (2,3) and (5,7) is $\sqrt{(5-2)^2 + (7-3)^2} = \sqrt{3^2 + 4^2} = \sqrt{25} = 5$.
